Jordan D. Main

One fateful night after a long, demanding day at work in accounting, Jordan had an epiphany; he noticed that Stock Brokers and Accountants can fail miserably in communicating with each other – potentially causing clients tax issues with their investments and investment issues with their taxes. He was frustrated because he felt the client was caught between a rock and a hard place.

In 2002, Jordan set out to change all that. He dedicated his whole career to working both sides of the taxes vs. investments problem he was witnessing. Already armed with his accounting degree from Michigan State (BA, 2000), he acquired the proper life, health and financial licenses. From that point forward, Jordan aimed to provide an abundance of information to his clients.

2006 was a watershed year for Jordan. He created Main Financial Group as his own company to incorporate taxes and investments under one roof. Through the years, clients upon clients have become friends and family to him. In addition, he found the woman of his dreams, Emily, and together they are raising their family in Brighton, MI.

Go Green!

Adam R. Freund, CRC®

Adam loves being a partner and financial advisor at Main Financial Group. He really gets into helping people plan for their financial future and is also a Certified Retirement Counselor®. Quite frankly, he geeks out at developing financial road maps for his clients – he’s sort of our office nerd when it comes to that.

Adam is an avid golfer. He plays trumpet and guitar (not at the same time), and performed two years of improvisational theater in Chicago. He holds a BA in Communications from Michigan State University, passed the Series 7 and the Series 66 Security exams, plus he holds a life and health insurance license.

Retirement, wealth management, and long-term care planning are Adam’s main area of focus. As we stated before, he’s a bit of a nerd but that’s okay because you’ll still love working with him and his warped sense of humor.

Since 2007, Commerce Township is where Adam calls home. Along with his wife, Robyn, and their daughter, Isabelle (who’s growing up way too fast!), he loves the Old English D.

Thomas G. Sleva

“Mangia” literally means “eat” in Italian but to Tom it’s much, much more. It means family. Gathering around his dinner table growing up was what molded his moral compass. You help when you can, you treat others with respect, and friends & family are important.

That is what drove Tom into being a partner at Main Financial Group. He was really exhausted by the seemingly cutthroat world of working at a traditional brokerage firm, which valued “selling” over “solutions” for their clientele. Frustrated, he set out to find a better way of helping his friends, family and neighbors. Enter Main Financial Group.

Yes, Tom has his Bachelor’s degree from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University. Yes, he holds his life and health insurance licenses. Yes, he specializes in retirement strategies and Long-Term Care Planning. But you are what is most important to him – how can he help you?

Tom lives in Milford, Michigan with his wife and two children. He’s an active supporter of Detroit Catholic Central and Mercy High School as well as his Church, St Mary's, Milford. He loves helping others and often lives by the term "The Helping Hand".
